Challenge

American Efficient partners with manufacturers, distributors and retailers to accelerate and promote energy efficiency innovation and adoption across the United States. The company, in collaboration with sustainability consultancy, Shelton Group, was launching a first of its kind PSA-style campaign to promote DIY air sealing of residential homes. Air leaks are a cause of wasted energy and money, and ultimately a preventable contributor to climate change that many homeowners lack awareness of.

American Efficient engaged boa to distribute Shelton Group’s clever and creative video and image ads to the audiences most likely to engage with and act on this important information.

Solution

To ensure this important and educational messaging reached the most qualified people across all 23 target states, boa created a multi-channel media plan that would reflect the audience’s generational diversity. Tik Tok, YouTube, Reddit and Meta were used to deliver video views, engagement with static ads and ensure time-on-site to a varied audience group.
