Celebrating Women and Sustainability at the 2023 Vegan Women Summit
At boa, we can get pretty passionate about the things we love (like slow fashion, collaborative relationships, the dogs of boa…), so when we get to attend events that are stacked with our obsessions, we really can’t shut up about it. From May 18th-20th, the boa team will take on the 2023 Vegan Women Summit in Brooklyn, NY! We can’t wait to hang out with like-minded individuals and learn about the latest trends in veganism and sustainability. Here are the top five reasons why we are pumped to attend the Vegan Women Summit.
The Vegan Women Summit is all about celebrating badass women (like Joanne Lee Molinaro, author of The Korean Vegan, whose Instagram account makes us drool and Miyoko Schinner, who opened the world of plant-based foods to cheese addicts who couldn’t quit) who are leading the plant-based movement. Women are often underrepresented in business and leadership positions, but events like the Vegan Women Summit inspire the next generation of women business leaders. We love supporting events that empower women and promote diversity and inclusivity.
As a purpose-driven digital marketing agency, we are all about promoting businesses and organizations that prioritize sustainability, social responsibility, and ethical practices. The Vegan Women Summit is totally in line with our mission, and we are excited to attend an event that promotes sustainable practices and keeps us up to date with the latest sustainability trends.
Discovering New Innovations
We can’t wait to discover new plant-based products and services at the Vegan Women Summit. This event is a great opportunity for us to stay up to date with the latest trends in veganism (the leather alternatives we’ve discovered in the last few years? Minds. Blown.). By attending, we’ll be able to make sure that, as consumers, we’re making the best choices when it comes to the latest and greatest in vegan snacks and fashion!
Speakers and Panels
The list of speakers and panellists this year is so exciting. From authors and activists to chefs and CEOs, these experts are at the top of their game, and we know we’ll learn a ton from them. We’re excited to hear their thoughts on how to promote sustainable practices and make a positive impact on the world. Plus, we’re hoping to pick up some new skills and strategies that we can use to promote the role of plant-based lifestyles on behalf of our clients.
It might be last on our list, but it’s first in our hearts. We are dying to dig into some delicious plant-based treats at the Vegan Women Summit! Promoting plant-based diets is a crucial part of promoting sustainable practices, and we’re excited to try out some of the innovative dishes featured this year. Anyone at last year’s event knows that Libre Food’s mushroom bacon was one of the stars of the show. We’ll be sure to report back on our favourites!
We can’t wait to share our experiences and use what we learn to continue to promote sustainability and elevate brands that are fully aligned in values.
